ECA “End-of-Life Management” services ensure that OEMs are prepared for any eventuality in a product's lifecycle. ECA Services monitors the availability of all components and provides advance notification to the OEM upon confirming end-of-life of any item affecting continuing production or support of the end product. ECA will partner with the OEM to evaluate the impact of the component’s end-of-life status and to adopt the best course of action. Components can be purchased new and stocked. Used components can be refurbished to factory specifications. Alternative components can be evaluated, or in some cases, ECA can even re-start production of end-of-life components.
