Date: 27th March 2007
ECA Services Limited is pleased to announce the Advantech ACP-4362 and ACP-4360 high performance and high storage capacity computing platforms for SATA RAID applications. With elegant black exterior and brand-new ID design, these platforms are perfect for surveillance applications, critical data processing, network security systems and other server-related solutions. The ACP-4362/4360 can be integrated with a PICMG 1.3 SHB, PICMG 1.0 SBC or an industrial ATX motherboard. There is one front-accessible slim optical disk drive bay and one front-accessible 3.5” drive bay for a FDD or HDD. In addition, there are six SATA hard disk trays, each with two LEDs that show power, data access, HDD failure, and RAID data rebuild status. The rich power supply options include 400 W / 500 W / 700 W PS/2 single and 400 W redundant.
Excellent Industrial Design with Clear SATA RAID Indicators
The highly integrated Advantech ACP-4362 is designed to be used with Advantech PCI-X or PCIe SATA RAID cards for complete RAID management functionality. These 8-port cards support RAID 0, 1, 10, 3, 5 and 6; hot-swap SATA disk drives; auto rebuilding; and web-based configuration and monitoring. The cost-effective Advantech ACP-4360 is designed to be used with 3rd party RAID cards for maximum flexibility. If a 3rd party RAID card is used, HDD failure and data rebuild won’t be indicated on the mobile trays. However, users can still easily monitor these functions through the GUI manager provided by the RAID card supplier.
