Introducing the SwitchView SC4 UAD, the first USB KVM switch to achieve NIAP approval
The Avocent SwitchView® SC4 UAD KVM switch is the industry's first and only NIAP Common Criteria approved (to EAL4) secure KVM switch with USB support. Designed specifically for secure applications, this switch provides four ports, each with its own secure channel.
The SwitchView SC4 UAD KVM switch allows users to safely access data through four ports from four computers operating at any level of classification while switching from just one keyboard and mouse. USB support allows more simplified connectivity to new computers that now come standard with USB ports.
Audio support is provided, as is support for both analogue and digital video to allow those analysts to operate either analogue or digital monitors from the same connector. High quality digital video, along with sound, results in more effective reviewing and reporting on sensitive data such as maps, satellite images and schematics.
The SwitchView SC4 UAD will be available from July 5th
New Generation LongView and LongView Companion
The LongView and LongView Companion, transmitter / receiver pairs connect PS/2 keyboard, video, mouse (KVM), serial and audio peripherals up to 500 feet away. The LongView Companion allows a second user to be connected close to the computer for ease of administration and maintenance. A one wire to the desk design using standard UTP cable makes installation simple and keeps costs low.
Its industry-standard design makes the LongView and LongView Companion extenders compatible with virtually any PC, display technology and operating system. Its simple plug-and-play design simplifies installation and eliminates the need for software drivers and intrusive hardware.
